For Pierre Roy and Christian Pelletier, that dream became Portable Winch. Starting from humble beginnings, the two friends built the company through hard work, innovation, and an unwavering belief in their vision.
Founded in Sherbrooke, Québec, in 2003, Portable Winch revolutionized the industry by introducing the world's first portable capstan winches designed to deliver exceptional pulling power in a compact, lightweight format.
Today, Portable Winch designs and manufactures high-performance winches used in forestry, hunting, construction, rescue operations, and property maintenance.
